A bunch of reenactors reenacting the spanish Empire, noone expects the Spanish inquisition, famously shown in the Monty Pythons flying circus, was a clever parody because as a matter of fact everyone expected the Spanish Inquisition, the Spanish would give their soon to be enemies one month notice before they came to invade with their Armada totally ruining any chance of surprise on the battlefield at a time where surprise could make or break a battle. Surprise can’t win a war but it can sure win a battle or two, the Barbarians were famous for these tactics and proved even knuckle draggers can out maneuver even the Roman Empire with surprise battles, so Monty Python felt like this was hilarious and
dedicated hundreds of sketches to the exact same phrase, say it with me “Nobody Expects The Spanish Inquisition”

Alot of detail went down to reenact these scenes, we’re pretty sure they’re setting up filming for something also but reenactors don’t care for film studios, they’re huge geeks that would reenact this stuff even without an audience

This is a nice Panorama onboard a spanish floatilla, this would really good with some CGI ships in the background during filming, wooden vessels of today must be difficult to maintain with wood rot and so on when today everything is made with Fiberglass
