Also known as Spouting Horn, in rough conditions the surf rushes into the gaping sink hole and then shoots upwards with great force, i love it when dangerous places have cute names, it makes you think twice before messing with it. It can be viewed by taking the Captain Cook Trail from the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area visitor centre, but for your own safety stay well back, especially at high tide or during winter storms.

Thor's Well and Spouting Horn are best seen approximately an hour before high tide to an hour after high tide. How spectacular the sights are is a function of the height of the high tide and the direction and size of the swells. The wind can also be a factor. Devil's Churn, Spouting Horn and Thor's Well are popular with visitors, however, all three can be dangerous, especially at high tide and during winter storms
