Shortly after these Panorama360s were taken there was an enormous earthquake in Tibet that killed thousands, it caused deadly avalanches as you can imagine alot of people who were killed by the disaster were scaling these mountains at the time, some were even safe in their base-camp when it hit and recorded the whole thing on camera or best they could when running in terror, the first few seconds it was a novelty amusement that the ground was shaking and the all very familar feeling of terror for a climber finally struck them when they realized they had moments to flee for their lives as being buried alive in snow can kill instantly. What would follow after those few minutes of panic and chaos would be search parties sent up and down here to look for survivors, this was a very dark day for Tibet see the videos below of the event while your here.
