The Courtyard where the young Starks would prepare to defend themselves unaware of the evils they were yet to face, only one current Eddard Stark had seen the horrors of war and betrayal and was in no mood to see his children unprepared. During the early episodes there would be easter egg foreshadowing giving hints of what would become of their future with bitter irony intertwined here for five seasons later, like almost forgotten laughs with arrows in archery practice, Golden handshakes and the Mordors that would become all too real in the seasons to follow even for some of the audience members to bare. During the first few seasons this court yard had an abundance of Game Of Thrones trivia that would delight any Game Of Thrones fan.

Right okay we know there's alot of Game Of Thrones castles but nothing quite strikes the hearts and minds of a Game Of Thrones fan as Winterfell, this castle is famous for it having so many characters from so many scenes from within the same area at such close proximity early on. The opening scene from Winterfell castle has the entire Stark family, friends of the family and soon to be enemies, with the opening scene with the enemy Lannister family also within these castle walls and if you haven’t watched the show yet i’ll stop now as to not spoil it for you but this show was famous for dividing fans and cast but for this one brisk moment most of the main characters were within a few hundred yards from each other within these castle walls and they all looked so young to what would become of everyone on both sides
