Limited to the excavation face portion downstream from Casina dell’Aquila, on the side facing via dell’Abbondanza, where the conditions of the face and the presence of constraints at the top do not allow the required moving back for reshaping purposes, the intervention also provides for safety measures along the face, consisting of slope stabilisation works

Chora a refreshment point and cafeteria managed by CIRFOOD is available inside the archaeological area of Pompeii and is located behind the Temple of Jupiter. Smoking is strictly forbidden on the excavation sites. There are designated smoking areas available near the Casina dell’Aquila and the toilet facilities.
