Two rooms face the two ends of the upper euripus: a small room on the west which appears to be a shrine dedicated to the goddess Isis.

The owner, as evidenced by a seal, was Decimus Octavius Quartio, a member of the board of Augustans, civilians dedicated to the cult of the emperors.
The artist is a certain Lucius who affixed his own signature.

The entrance area partly preserves the original layout with a traditional atrium; whereas, the garden extends on two areas located at different heights and are characterised by two artificial waterways (euripi) perpendicular to each other, animated by waterfalls and fountains.
