Many people injure or kill themselves either by accident or intentional, in 2021 a 56year old British man lept to his death from these cliffs and many cyclists have been killed by overtaking cars and many cars have crashed over the ledges of these roads over taking traffic, the port of Pollensa at the bottom of this road can be brought to a standstill with even non fatal crashes like in 2001 vehicle involved in a head-on collision, smashed through the port Pollensa wall and went over the edge. Pollensa highway has many fatal road stories made all the more worse by the sheer drops injured by those who survive with non-fatal crashes. Helicopter teams on usual standby in vicinity. Cycle here with huge caution, just as many cycle fatal road stories as car stories. German cyclist aged 29, was fatally injured in an accident with a car on the Lluc to Pollensa highway. 38 deaths in 2013 alone, speeding kills.
