Václav Laurin & Václav Klement started their own business in Mladá Boleslav in 1895 - today ŠKODA is one of the world's oldest automotive brands, and the Museum highlights this history in the most authentic of places, the original production halls in which the company manufactured cars until 1928.

Their official website claims;- From the  “First”  bicycle, “first”  motorcycle, “first” tricycle, “first” car (1906) with performance of seven hp and other important products up to newest designs. Claim made here  https://www.skoda-auto.com/company/visit

From the first bicycle they claim but i can’t see how because the first bicycle was created in Scotland by the scottish, I really don’t know if i can believe they were the first in many of these claims as the bicycle and car have claims by other nations, these are bold claims and assertions they make which i’m sure aren’t true but i’ll leave their claims up above with my edited notes until they can prove otherwise. This paragraph is a mix of their claims with my editorial edits below
