Glastonbury Festival 2017 Panorama 360 VR Concert
2017 June 23rd Pilton, Shepton Mallet BA4 6TR
The year that politics practically dominated Glastonbury. Calculated hijacking on mainstages by politicization of mainstream London career politicans, people used to go these events to get away from such acts of them exploitating regular folks for their own careers, Glastonbury did occur a couple of weeks after a general election. I bet if anyone was there in 2017, you would have heard "Oh Jeremy Corbyn," sung to the music of White Stripes' Seven Nation Army, at least once over the weekend.
-
Disagree with current mainstream career politicians on the 2017 main stages we'll privately ostracize you, yuck.

In fact, even Thom Yorke briefly led the crowd into this chant during Radiohead's headline set. To top it all off, Jeremy Corbyn himself (Political frontrunner against serving PM) turned up to introduce Run the Jewels.
esw chant translated:- "what do we want! higher taxes on the poor, when do we want them, now!"

Jeremy Corbyns brother was probably there as a self described eco-warrior, one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist as many Liam Gallagher fans would state non-appreciating eco-conformism that dominates many opinions through social cohesion expulsion should have been the oposite of what Glastonbury was trying to achieve and portray. The answer to bad speech is more speech not social expulsions from anti-brexit peerages

Between 23rd - 25th June, many musical artists came to entertain the masses of music fans at the most famous musical event of the year Glastonbury festival. As always, the line up was as varied as ever, particularly with the rise in popularity of grime artists, such as Stormzy and Wiley, and of course, there was the buzz about the three headliners, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran.

Other highlights include Liam Gallagher, who performed classic Oasis songs, Rock and Roll Star and Morning Glory, among others, as well as his new single Wall of Glass. However, the emotional moment was when he dedicated Don't Look Back in Anger to the victims of the recent terror attacks, as well as the Grenfell Tower fire and literally let everyone sing it back to him.
Stormzy, paid their respects to the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

Not only does Glastonbury provide this and spectacular music sets from a whole array of artists and musical genres, but it also hosts circus, cabaret and more. My own non-music related highlights include discovering the 50p Tea Tent

For Glastonbury 2017 they’ve a London tube train, with awnings coming off it creating a tiny corridor of a venue, the bands performing from the open doors on what’s basically a set of scaffolded steps. The small, packed crowd when we arrive are shouting along to songs by Queens of the Stone Age, The Prodigy and more, which are crackling out of a busted monitor amp. The vibe is supremely up.

Watching thousands of people singing this song was amazing as a television viewer. I'm sure it was even more amazing for people actually there. Just in case anyone was wondering. Noel did not make an appearance.

Evening Standard writes
"The festival’s unexpected highlight was Barry Gibb, who brought tears to the eyes with the sheer beauty of How Deep Is Your Love and Words, dedicated to the people of Manchester and London and proving the Bee Gees star still has his voice at 70."

But that is the beauty of Glastonbury. It appeals to all ages with its eclectic mix and is unafraid to mix the up-and-coming with the traditional — and the odd guest appearance by Hollywood actors Johnny Depp and Kiefer Sutherland. Next year is a fallow year — so the organisers have 24 months to work out how they are going to top this.

Over the years, few bands have managed to leave Glastonbury's muddy punters awestruck like Radiohead, their 1997 set being legendary among those who were in attendance. Expectations are, therefore, unsurprisingly high for their 2017 turn, the headline slot marking the 20th anniversary of the excellent OK Computer.

47th edition of the mammoth festival was a walk in the park. The weather held out, meaning trainers (sneakers) replaced wellies and sitting down was always an option.

For the grand finale, the club's lead rabble-rouser, Jonny Woo, mimed along to Liza Minnelli's camp classic "Ring Them Bells."

Behind him was a packed stage full of drag queens and naked go-go dancers. As the lights came up at 5 AM, signalling the end of Glastonbury's 47th edition.
