Located on an island and surrounded by a giant moat, the Pyramid House has many remarkable features, including a 50-foot statue of King Tut, a metal palm tree and, a four car garage topped by three smaller pyramids.
Top four floors are devoted to living space, with the bottom floor reserved for lectures to tourists.

There's also a moat surrounding the property, which was once rumored to have been claimed to be a sort of 'fountain of youth,' prompting the Onans to start bottling and selling their own beer made with water from the moat to tourists.
Heavy smoke and the unique and confusing layout caused several firefighting companies to become lost in the house.
This home serves as a museum, as well as a residence for the owners who built it and filled it with Egyptian artifacts.

Jim Onan, who built the house with his wife, is now medically challenged and in a wheelchair. He was able to escape the fire in 2018 and rebuilt and repainted it better than new. At least two firefighters were hospitalized with injuries by that fire in 2018. Construction crews were working on the six story structure when the fire started.
