Some people just don't understand subtle comedy, it really is a par in itself in sophisticated comedy, it's easier to be loud and over the top in comedy but it takes a different type of breed of people to use that dark tool-set of the subtle approach as it's something you have to hoane to get it right and so easy to get wrong. These Guys/Gals hit the mark so right in every way, Japanese so understand subtle humor and it makes me happy for them.

This team of pigeons was actually made up of writers from the blog Daily Portal Z who caught word that Google’s cameras would be in the area. They wanted to be on Street View but wanted to be easily distinguishable without having their faces blurred.

The DPZ writers showed up near Mitaka Station, all carrying masks so they could turn themselves into “human pigeons”. The result has recently appeared on Google

The image was captured at Mitaka Station in Musashino, Tokyo. The photo was taken on a sidewalk along the Tamagawa-josui, which as I understand it is a tiny channel in the Musashino district of West Tokyo. Apparently there’s also an art school there, Musashino Art University, which explains a lot about this.
