Come visit the tomb of Qin Shi Huang and his Terra-Cotta Warriors from the 3rd Century BC, to The Prince who became a King who led an empire after a 200 year old war in China Qin Shi Huang finally won over all the kingdoms and declared himself supreme ruler and Emperor of China. The terracotta army was only discovered in 1974 by farmers digging water-wells stumbled upon one of the terracotta warriors of which they thought only to be one became an entire army of 8 thousand warriors (2 thousand unearthed) complete with horse cavalry and strategic formations of which not all but most managed to be salvaged at this time. The real tomb where Qin Shi lies is yet to be explored due to the risks that pose from a moat of poisonous mercury and other unknowns, archaeologists just don’t posses the expertise at the moment to go exploring near it and they would also need the Chinese government's permission

Experts who worked on sites such as Tutankhamun inadvertently destroyed alot of information due to the excavation techniques they were using so it may take centuries to unearth everything if it’s to be done properly, every year that passes with excavating technology new things and practices are learned it’s a forever evolving art, when they began excavating in the 70’s the moment the terracotta was exposed to the air, light, humidity etc; paint would flake off even today they’re learning new techniques on that individual subject of preserving ancient colour

A Deep gorge where archaeologists are currently working which is open to the public there’s still half a mile to uncover deep and wide with thousands of more Terra sculptures of the undead 90% still remains a mystery

The terracotta style of his sculptures may have been an act of mercy as they believed in their culture anything buried with them would be taken to the afterlife so he opted to bury replicate versions of everything he wanted, Genghas Khan would just straight up butchers everyone he wanted in the afterlife with him, who knows maybe they’ll find mass graves Genghis Khan style, or perhaps he was a merciful leader for a flare of the dramatics, he died at 39 after ingesting pills of mercury as he wanted to live forever

The idea that archaeologists will just march into the tomb of Qin Shi Huang anytime soon is fantasy they have so much to pre-determine such as at the moment examining soil samples of what they suspect as moat of deadly mercury which gives everyone pause that their may be further things that are unknown and based on the findings around the tomb of Qin Shi Huang anything is possible. There’s evidence to suggest there’s much more to find from historians as they point out there may be pits of concubines which are women wives with lower status, basically mistress’s
