The Good news is. The project will be the fist of its kind in Western Ukraine. Initially, the facility’s capacity is envisaged at 250 MW with further stepping up to 500 MW. Today, the data centers can make use of the surplus power generated thus increasing its computing power. The cooperation between the companies in the energy and IT sector can be beneficial for both sides as well as facilitate the creation of new knowledge-intensive jobs which bring valuable input into the sustainable economic development of the region.

1979 disaster ussr reports are full of untold skeletons
NNEGC ENERGOATOM (ukraine energy board) tried to coverup the disaster on its opening day of September 22 1979, 1981 tried to hide the accident which occurred at the third unit of Rivne Nuclear Power and led to irreversible consequences. Such an announcement was made by Chief State Inspector of Ukraine on Nuclear Safety, Mykhailo Hashev.

According to him, a similar incident happened in 1979 at NPP in the USA and at those days it was considered one of the biggest disasters in U.S. history: “At the Three Mile Island in 1979 the emergency also was caused by the leak of contaminated water through the failed pressure regulating valve” Hashev says.

He explained that the accident brought about multimillion losses and the accident itself was caused by reactor obsolete repair: for repair of the valve made by German manufacturer Semрell the domestic spare parts instead of original were used.

Hashev adds that these spare parts are made from different alloy, without chrome plating while operators are trying to hide themselves behind the document of 1990, which authorizes such obsolete methods of maintenance.
“Currently that document has no right to exist in the territory of the independent state of Ukraine. We submitted to the government the issue concerning the adequacy of the first technical director of the operating organization for the position he holds.” – Hashev says, while the equipment integrity disturbance and NPP safety is concerned.

On August 20, 2007 the power unit 2 was shut down at Rivne NPP for scheduled overhaul. The power unit 1 at Rivne NPP has been under repair for more than a year. Such repair implies to extend unit lifetime for 15 year more, as its design lifetime expires in 2010. Besides, on August 13, 2009 the power unit 4 at Rivne NPP was also shut down for elimination of some failures. WAIT FOR IT... NUCLEAR INFERNO 2019 see tabloid images below
THERE was panic last night after a blaze tore through a Ukrainian nuclear power plant reactor built in the same year as the Chernobyl nuke disaster. 30 April 2019 Three dozen firefighters and ten fire trucks rushed to the blaze to extinguish it after emergency procedures were set in place.

One month before accident
Footage showed smoke billowing into the sky above Rivne power plant in the ex-Soviet republic As a result, the nuclear power plant had to be shut down after it was engulfed in flames. Toxic black smoke could be seen filling the sky above the nuke plant in the dramatic video footage. The overnight blaze broke out in the transformer of the third reactor unit at Rivne.
