Ghislaine Maxwell is sold her London home to pay for her legal defence. Maxwell, 59, was in a New York jail since July 2020, when she was arrested on charges of sex trafficking for convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The home, on Kinnerton Street in Belgravia, is where the infamous photograph showing Prince Andrew with his arm around Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre was taken.
Ms Giuffre claims she was taken to the property in 2001 and forced to have sex with the Duke of York when she was 17 years old. Prince Andrew has categorically denied he had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Ms Giuffre, and said in his BBC Newsnight interview that the photo might have been faked.
