Glastonbury 2016 on the farming fields of Glastonbury lies a yearly festival that adventurers of Britain descend onto and meet up with international backpackers backing their way from or through Europe where everyone can meet up on a hippy vibe and indulge in their sensations and leave a heck of alot of a mess for the cleaning team for when the weekender climaxes to a variety of bands which was first opened after the death of Jimi Hendrix, his death may have been the entire catalyst for the ambition of Glastonbury when a farmer turned his ailing farm into an industry and turned it's back to it for the fans where they rejoice each year in a celebration far removed from the fringes of corporate mainstream at least they try to in today's impossible marketing culture

Due to a combination of pre-existing mud on the festival site, a decision made by the organisers to delay the arrival of camper-vans to the site by four hours and sheer volumes of traffic, our arrival on the site was delayed for another eleven hours.

Early heavy showers later dried up leaving a fairly dry Glastonbury. It appeared to be another sunny Glastonbury it avoided heavy rain yet again, Glastonbury used to be notorious for unlucky rain showers combined with hundreds of thousands of people walking back and forth and camping within it creates a special type of muddy sludge that is oozing thick till by the end of the weekend if the weather persists it looks like the trenches from WW1 with drunks slobbing & globbing around the mud by the gangs of them. The last four years Glastonbury has been relatively lucky, slight drizzles combined with warm weather is perfect for festival goers, unpredictability gives it its unique charm, so you can say i was there maaaan when it all went down i lived to tell the tale scenario, even though all you did was have a fun glob party in your wellies but like i said the unpredictable weather adds to the enchantment charm

Glastonbury with the emergence of the first few days, it appears it had early rain showers judging by the early mud on the ground but mostly dried up throughout the course of the festival for a lush dry festival

A lovely grassy Glastonbury what it’s like when the rain showers don’t dominate the festival this area can look vastly different

Because of the mud-that was everywhere, even by the Thursday morning- navigating around the site became a battle. Michael Eavis has been quoted that "this year was the worst ever, weather-wise".

Complete with an out stage circus stage, observing a bunch of Gypsy travellers trying to conduct a politically correct Circus show has got to be entertaining just judging semantics alone

Thursday seeing Liverpool’s very own GIT Award nominees, Clean Cut Kid bury it in a packed tent at the Williams Green Stage. So packed that there were serried ranks of people outside the tent craning their necks to hear the high octane pop that Clean Cut Kid.

- more on the pollution local government fine below -
More than 4km of the Whitelake River was polluted after approximately 20,000 gallons of untreated sewage escaped from a temporary storage tank on a farm at Pilton, near Shepton Mallet, on June 29, 2014. The pollution killed more than 40 fish and effectively wiped out the local trout population.
